Vanilla on the nose with a blend of earthy, citric and sweet tasting notes. Mild on the palate with a light taste of roasted agave. El Compadre has a distinctive 'dusky' fragrance. This is the gentlest of the mezcals from Mezcal District, also described as 'mischievous'.
